This massive garage can be a shop or an office, with entry from either side, to create your barndominium floor plan. With the utility rooms and laundry then on the entrance from the garage to the residence, this would be a good plan for office or shop spaces that have a messy scenario, as those rooms could act as a mud room of sorts.

The residence area of this barndo features the typical great room down the middle, and it leads to covered porches both front and back.

The 2,748 square feet of this layout does not include the garage, if this plan is used as a residence only and the garage is not heated. That’s a lot of space and the bedrooms are large.
